Presentation of the IPI / BIV - Professional Institute of Estate Agents
The Professional Institute of Estate Agents, commonly known as the IPI, is mainly responsible for access to the profession of estate agent acting on applications for registration, after verifying that the applicant meets all the requirements and the disciplinary control of the profession. The real estate profession is indeed a regulated one requiring mandatory registration within the IPI/BIV. The latter defines rules of conduct that all members must follow. In case of non-respect of the rules, the realtor is liable to disciplinary action: warning, reprimand, suspension or cancellation. For more information go to the IPI /BIV official website
