Auderghem (nl: Oudergem) is one of the nineteen municipalities located in the Brussels-Capital Region, not far from the centre of the city. In fact, the centre of Brussels is only a few Metro stations away from Auderghem. The city can also be accessed via numerous bus and metro lines. For drivers, it is also one of the best routes into Brussels for those travelling from the south-east of the country via the E411 motorway. Bordering Etterbeek, Ixelles, Overijse, Tervuren, Watermael-Boitsfort and Woluwe-Saint-Pierre, this municipality, which has a population of 32,000, has some magnificent districts such as Val Duchesse and Clos du Blankedelle. Because of its Metro stations and tramline, the municipality of Auderghem is both quiet and close to all major activities. In terms of property, prices are high, because of the location in the south-east of Brussels.
