Jette is one of the nineteen municipalities located in the Brussels-Capital Region. With a population of nearly 43,000, this municipality of 5 km² is situated in the north-west of Brussels and borders Asse, Wemmel, the City of Brussels, Koekelberg, Sint-Jans-Molenbeek and Ganshoren. The municipality is easily accessible by car via the R0-E19-E40 motorway and by train via the railway station at Jette. The municipality is also served by numerous tram and bus stops. The René Magritte museum is located in Jette. Nature-lovers can enjoy the large green spaces in Parc Roi Baudouin, Parc de la Jeunesse and Bois de Dieleghem.
