Knokke-Heist, more commonly known as Knokke, is situated in West-Flanders in the Flemish Region. This coastal city with nearly 16.000 inhabitants is easy to reach by train. The northern terminus of the coastal tram line is also situated in Knokke, and golf enthusiasts will be pleased with Knokke’s golf court. In fact, it is the most expensive municipality on the Belgian coast. Knokke is made up of 3 parts: Albertstrand, Het Zoute en Knokke town centre.
