Mons is a municipality in Wallonia that is less than one hour away from Brussels and has a population of 93,000. It is easily accessible either by car via the E19 or by train via Mons railway station, which is currently being renovated. There are also free “Mons Intra Muros” buses that run around the city centre. The city of Mons is famous for its Grand-Place and belfry.
