The municipality of Ottignies-Louvain-la-Neuve in the province of Walloon Brabant is easily accessible because of its location near the E411 motorway and the N4, N25 and N238 trunk roads. The town of Ottignies can also be reached by bus or train.
The municipality includes the town of Louvain-la-Neuve, which was built in 1970 to house the main campus of the Catholic University of Leuven.
