Zaventem is a municipality in the province of Flemish Brabant that borders the Brussels-Capital Region. It has a population of almost 32,000 and covers an area of 27.62 km². Zaventem includes the former municipalities of Nossegem, Woluwe-Saint-Etienne and Sterrebeek. It is known mainly for Brussels Airport, which is partly located within the municipality. The R0 runs through the municipality, making it easily accessible by car. Zaventem has several schools, as well as a culture and tourism service.
